March 2025
March 2025 has been a productive and exciting month for the CARS Project EU as we continue to explore the innovative use of AR in storytelling and language learning. Our project partners have been actively engaging students, teachers, and researchers across various activities. From completing pilots to presenting at international seminars, we are thrilled to share the latest developments.
The CYENS Centre of Excellence announced the successful completion of the CARS project pilots in Cyprus! These pilots, conducted in collaboration with Dimotiko Scholeio Agias Napas-Antoni Tsokkou, took place during the first half of February. Sixth-grade students created their own interactive stories using Augmented Reality (AR), promoting creativity, collaboration, and engagement. Researchers from CYENS observed the students’ interactions and later interviewed teachers to gain insights into the impact of AR on storytelling and language skills development. Feedback from students and teachers was highly positive, highlighting the immersive and dynamic nature of AR technology. Read the CARS Project EU update here!
